indeed, our goal is that it will be easy to make an rts game. maybe not for children, but for people around the level of modders, yeah Smiley

I think like you, but I also think the last part is the best of all..

Programming is something great, it is something even necesary if you're modding. This project IMO will need much from that.. I've learned SAIL to mod Original War. I'd like you expand the posibilities for people to learn programming, but don't cut resources! Leave the hassle! I think is better to be proud of your creation than to be proud of doing relatively nothing and see just almost the same result many times..-

The way I'm seeing it, units, objects, powers, etc. will be constructable with default behaviours and modules in XML. More advanced users can also embed scripts in these XML files to do more advanced stuff.

XML itself takes 1 minute to learn (10 seconds if you know HTML). It can be used in millions of ways though, and that format is what we will need to design
