This could be implemented with some help of physics. What do I mean is that if a sound is in a zone that has some considerable objects, then the sound will be "reflected" on them and make a reverberation; so this will look great for cities, mountains, cliffs, really big bases, woods, etc.

This sounds nice on paper, but working it into the game would be much harder than it appears. It's a great idea, and I think at some point it should be considered, but it is something to think about in the future.

Personally I'm not sure if it would add much to the gameplay. We have to keep performance and development time in mind Wink

Well, development time is something we shouldn't have to worry about too much.

Delelopment won't end after the first release, and this seems to me like a good feature for that period.

Like I said, far in the future. But 2play has a fine point; this would be more work for the CPU to do, which isn't so great because DRS isn't really all that beneficial to gameplay. You can mimic it with pretty much the same feel and less processing power.
