Hello everyone, my name is The Curse and in the so-called "real life" people tend to call me Tom Smiley Will be turning 27 soon.

I'm from the dutch speaking part of belgium but live in the french speaking part of it since a year and a half for my job. Studied computer science at the university of Hasselt in Belgium.

I've been working as first a business developer for half a year and since then I work on the framework of my company for over a year. My job exists out of R&D, bugfixing and solving business developer stupid bugs. At my job I program in java/j2ee.

I started programming when I was 11 on a x486 in BASIC. Started pascal a few years later, then IA32 assembler, followed by c, c++, java and a 20-somewhat different languages which I'm too lazy to write all down.

Don't have alot of code and work to show since I deleted all my previous crap and I'm too lazy to update my profile at http://users.pandora.be/HATE/profiles/the_curse/ since 5 years.

I can be considered as a purist programmer, and aim strongly towards strong design & architecture and clean code. (when you work as a professional programmer and see alot of ugly code written by previous employees a man get get cynical)

I basically love everything in programming as long as it's challenging and not (G)UI related. so don't expect Swing/SWT/... stuff from me.
