My basic skills at programming have gone to sleep a bit, since it is long i did any actual work in the field. And as mentioned, it was mainly C++, some very basic assembler and the early versions of turbopascal in my teenie days. I started on Java a few years back, but with nothing to work on or for, i had no impetus going any further than the basic basics.

Anyway, this sounds like a good reason to put my old books back on the shelf for reference. I'll take a while to restart; going to read up on this forum's discussion from start to end. I am very impressed with you guys going for a project with this pretty daunting size. Most importantly, i just love the concept of OpenSource. I am one of those victims that hit the Sage-CodeWall once too often, i guess.

I have nothing to show for you to assess my skills, sadly. But i am a friend of ObjectOriented programming and of logic and abstracta in general. Handling the Sage Code for example has become a walk in the park. You wouldn't believe how many times i have looked at game.dat's hex-code, trying to discern a certain logic behind things, trying to imagine how i would have programmed a certain routine, or how they may have. Aargh! I need to talk about something else, hehe.

Anyway, i most certainly have some ideas, how the end-users CODE should look like. It's time i made an effort to 'make it so'.
