Last week, our server at Strato was blocked, because it was used by a hacker to execute a DoS-attack (so they say). I quickly arranged a new server which served an error page you may have seen. Unfortunately it took some time and a lot of e-mailing to get our data back, but obviously, here it is. So we're back again Smiley

From a financial point of view, have you lost money with the blocked server?

I don't have any paid business that depends on the server being up, so no. I would have lost some though, if I had.
I was unable to work on some things, and couldn't receive any email on my main address, so I did lose time.
